Manifesto Workshop - Sunday, April 2, 2006

@ the South Central Farm

Welcome. Twenty-three of us were there. We donated, walked through the farm, and lived, breathed, and wrote manifestos. Mostly we had a lot of fun and created an atmosphere whose energy will remain with us for a long time to come.

A big thanks to each one of the manifesto writers who attended. Additional thanks to Susan E. Kim for helping with sign-in and photos, music by Emily Lacy (guitar and vocals) and Heather Lockie (viola), and to Denise, Tezozomoc, Fernando, Dele, Rosa, and the rest of the South Central Farm organizing committee. We also appreciate La Opinión newspaper for covering the workshop. Special thanks to Janet Lyon, Associate English Professor at Penn State University, whose work and consultation inspired us. And a final thanks to the South Central Farmers for their great food!
