The following paragraphs will query your database. Now slow down and let the words impact. Let them randomly access your memories and redefine them as version 1.You.

Let's start by querying your interests. Do I really want to go out tonight? Do I like the music I listen to? Do I actually find that person ugly? Do I say words I don't mean? What am I wearing? Imagine no more acting.

Who do you idealize? Who's mythology? Do you imagine how great it is to be a spouse, artist, regular person, goth, landlord, traveler, crazy person, soldier, macho aggressor, environmentalist, rock star, banker, baker, savior, hippie, lawyer, hip hop head, gigolo, politician, punk, activist, athlete, manager, tortured genius, freedom fighter, business professional, squatter, or preacher? These are mythologies. How do they shape you? How do they limit you?

Are you who you think you are? Our personalities are multiple and complex, but the dominant personality denies the minor personalities from surfacing. Do past self-definitions govern you? What do your recent actions reveal? Maybe you are somebody else. Thoughts and actions are rarely synchronized. Your old self-definitions may overlook more updated improvements or failures. Look at who you already are. Upgrading your version of self will help break patterns.

Habits spread and make us lame.

Can you think of a moment where you've expressed your true thoughts and feelings, in spite of the audience?

M.Y.Manifesto is a manifesto of mythology detection and reflection. The dots are in the name for you to connect.
